ErosAntEros was born out of the union of Davide Sacco and Agata Tomsic. In the summer of 2009, Davide Sacco, already a music designer with Teatro delle Albe (Leben, Rosvita, Stranieri, L'Avaro) and a performer with Fanny & Alexander (Kansas, South, Kansas Museum), he began work on the embryonic phase of asprakounelia (Treno Fantasma). During the following months, the play evolved thanks to collaboration with several partners, which gave the play its finishing touch. The first meeting with Agata Tomsic, who studied theatre at the university and had previous experience in workshops, happened in a city of cardboard, thanks to a lucky workshop of Motus, in Ravenna, in January 2010. After the debut of the show (May 2010), the pair have begun a research project on the figure of the nymph, in connection with man and his relation with pictures. This path will animate a new creation, Nympha, mane! (January 2012), generating in parallel also other forms. In this way will arise Contagi mnestici (Mnestic contagions), a plot of meetings aimed to contamination through nymphal imaginaries, and TraScendere – Concerto sintetico per figure espressive (TranScend – Synthetic concert for expressive figures, July 2011), a performance made to discover a technical and formal point of view present in Nympha, mane! since its conception.
